Multicast
Multicast
Useful for simutaneous providing contents from the target server.
Specifies the Multicast group information in the network which contents will use.
Both IPv4 and IPv6 are supported.
- Group Address: The multicast group address available to multicast
- Port: The multicast port number available to multicast
- Net Interface Hint: Used to select a proper network interface to multicast. Set the net address of a target interface determined by gateway and subnet mask to CIDR presentation.
For example:
- Group Address: 239.18.1.1
- Port: 1888
If the gateway: 192.168.1.2,
If subnet mask: 255.255.255.0,
- Net Interface Hint: 192.168.1.0/24
If subnet mask: 255.255.240.0,
- Net Interface Hint: 192.168.0.0/20
