onAirXR Client App sets up an anchor that serves as the origin of the tracked devices. There are three ways the anchor can set a pose.

• App Origin
  • the anchor pose is always same as the app origin.
• App Relative
  • maintains the position and rotation of the anchor pose relative to the app origin
• Guardian Relative
  • maintains the position and rotation of the anchor pose relative to the play area (guardian) of Meta Quest

Click “Anchor” icon in the menu to enter/exit anchor mode. You can see the anchor on the floor (shown as a green grid) unless the anchor type is App Origin.

How to Move Anchor

• Meta Quest 2/Pro

  • Move

    

    • Holding down the grip button and aim the controller to a point on the floor
    • Release the grip button

  • Rotate

    

    • Aim the controller to the blue or red handle.
    • Holding down the grip button and move the controller in the desired direction to rotate
    • Release the grip button

  • Change Floor Level

    VR HMD or AR device can automatically detect floor level, but you can manually adjust the level by unchecking Auto Floor Level.

    

    • Aim the controller to the white handle.
    • Holding down the grip button and move the controller vertically
    • Release the grip button

• Android/iOS AR Devices

  First, point the device’s camera at the floor until the device detects the floor.

  • Move
    • Touch and drag any point on the floor
  • Rotate
    • Touch and drag the blue or red handle
  • Changing floor level is not available.
